Principal Business Development Manager

Los Angeles, CA



Promotes full capabilities of the firm under general direction utilizing
experience and contacts.
Meets with clients and potential clients of moderate to significant size and
secures project opportunities.
Identifies prospects for the company and promotes involvement of technical
staff in developing and managing client relationships/ Apprises marketing
organization of sales leads and client development activity.
May lead teaming efforts and proposal coordination on regional procurements
/ Acts as a catalyst to heighten technical staff's awareness of marketing
opportunities; arranges meeting between client and company staff.

Conducts detailed market surveys / May prepare marketing plans for specific
client accounts or for clients within a market or industry segment /
Initiates and maintains involvement in relevant trade, industry,
professional, and civic associations appropriate to the firm's marketing
activities  Achieves personal sales goals as mutually established with
manager/









Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related technical field.
8 years of successful business development experience.
12 yrs of  Industry knowledge and contacts to generate significant
business.
Technical aptitude and interest to develop strong working
knowledge of the firm's capabilities.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Self motivated, creative, and innovative.

Quality Assurance Manual and Procedures

Professional Ethics

Basic Project Management (recommended)
