Job Title: Snr Manufacturing Cost Analyst
Location: Indiana, Indianapolis
Description: Sr Cost Analyst - Manufacturing
Develop product costs and gross margins for assigned programs in support
of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
Coordinate, evaluate, and prepare data required to complete termination claims
in a timely manner to recover cost and profit on terminated contracts.
Analyze and make changes to standard costs.
Provide and analyze manufacturing cost and gross margin data.
Review monthly product shipments for assigned programs and nonproduct
sales accounts to arrive at gross margins and operating results. Prepare
adjusting journal entries as required.
Analyze monthly operating results including both sales and gross margins
to satisfy segment reporting requirements and to provide management with
data for decision making purposes. Perform monthly reconciliation of assigned
balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy of the balance sheet.
Prepare financial schedules to satisfy various tax reporting requirements.
Support internal and external audits as required. Prepare financial analyses and
provide support to Business Program management during program negotiations
and periodic program review presentations.
Bachelors Degree in either Accounting or Finance required.
Strong cost accounting background required. SAP and Business Warehouse experience.
10+ years in industrial manufacturing cost analysis.
