Job Title: Business Analyst /Contract Administrator
Location: North Carolina, Charlotte
Discipline: Business Analyst
Business Analyst will analyze complex customer requirements to provide accurate assessments of commercial risks (price, overall strategy, investment schedules/plans, and terms) and develop commercial measures and strategies that appropriately balance business risks and rewards for domestic or international business initiatives. Business Analyst will lead in the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives within the business area, resource divisions and/or the customer interfaces that improve customer satisfaction, shorten process times and enhance business results. Business Analyst will coordinate, direct and lead commercial negotiations for multi-organizational business initiatives when assigned including multiple party consortiums, joint ventures, partnership agreements, licensing agreements and settlement agreements.
Business Analyst develop and implements price realization policies and guidelines that reflect value-added, competitive realities and overall business objectives.
Facilitate order entry and the processing of customer orders by interfacing with both customer and technical lead groups and by administering the management systems associated with the order entry process. Provide commercial expertise, guidance and support to resource organizations in their management of current contracts. Lead in the identification, implementation, and administration of business, planning and marketing management systems necessary to achieve the mission.
Manage intellectual property provisions to maximize value in the global marketplace. Assist in development and implementation of intellectual property policy.
Maintain expertise in commercial and global business practices. Train less experienced personnel and develop and train personnel in the areas of
pricing, planning/scheduling, contracts and license development and administration.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Business
9+ years of related work experience
Government contracting experience and familiarity with government accounting requirements.
MBA or JD preferred.
Certificates in paralegal studies or in the area of contract management preferred.
