Key Role in business development strategies and responsible for
acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships;
budgeting, reporting, & analysis initiatives in support of funding
acquisitions; managing
pipeline of acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence,
coordinating legal,
and championing/leading the efforts of the various G&G and Business team
in all activities required to effectively and efficiently acquire producing
wells, fields, and companies.

Execute established strategy which includes opportunity identification,
management, evaluation, negotiations and deal execution.
Manage the business development process and work with the operating teams to
identify and evaluate the technical, strategic and commercial merits of
potential acquisition opportunities through effective portfolio management.
cross-functional project teams to assess high priority acquisition targets.
Network in the E&P business development community.
Coordinating, analyzing, and developing A&D, manage the process of
analysis and evaluation of assets and/or companies for acquisition and
leadership, direction and support to E&P business units and corporate staff
in acquisition

Prepare presentation content and generate technical input for A&D
evaluation, business
forecasts, financial budgets, targets and portfolio growth opportunities and
Define optimal deal structures and negotiation strategies, lead negotiation
and execution
of deals. Play a key role during negotiation and legal completion of A&D
Identify scope of due diligence; coordinate all aspects of asset due
diligence for
individual transactions. Assemble and manage due diligence team and

Experience with financing the acquisition of oil and gas producing

Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Legal, or Geosciences.
5+ years recent experience evaluating and funding acquisition and
opportunities for oil and gas operating companies.
Must have property transaction and negotiation experience including
financial statement
analysis, and valuation skills, and experience in financial modeling as it
relates to E&P
Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management
practices and principles, and the development and continuous improvement of
project management work processes.
